ＪＲ東日本秋田支社(井料青海支社長)は8日、大型連休期間(4月28日〜今月7日)の利用状況を公表した。ほぼ好天に恵まれたこともあり、利用者数は福島県沖地震による臨時ダイヤとなった前年同期を大幅に上回った。うち秋田新幹線「こまち」(盛岡〜田沢湖間)は上り、下り平均で前年同期の1.7倍にのぼったものの、コロナ流行前の平成30年(2018年)には及ばなかった。

　同支社関連の利用状況のうち秋田新幹線「こまち」は上り、下りあわせて6万5,000人で、前年同期比2万7,000人、71.1%増、平成30年(2018年)比1万6,000人、19.8%減。羽越本線「いなほ」(酒田〜秋田間)は同5,100人で、前年同期比600人、13.3%増、平成30年比1,100人、17.7%減。

　また、奥羽本線「つがる」(弘前〜青森間)は同7,000人で、前年同期比2,200人、13.3%増、平成30年比3,900人、35.8%減。リゾートしらかみ(秋田〜青森間)は同4,100人で、前年同期比2,200人、13.3%増、平成30年比3,900人、35.8%減。

　同支社は「新型コロナウイルス流行前である2018年の水準には及ばないものの、制限緩和等により徐々に利用が回復している」との見方を示した。　(午前零時)
