2月の県内火災発生件数は、前年同月と同水準の19件だった。県総合防災課がまとめた速報値で示されたもの。火災に伴う死者数は減少傾向ながら、皆無には至らなかった。
同課が作成した令和4年、5年の1月と2月の火災発生状況(ともに速報値)は下段のとおりだが、建物、林野、車両、その他をあわせた今年2月の総件数は19件で、前年同月と同数。建物をはじめとする内訳も、前年とほぼ同水準だった。 火災に伴う死者数は、今年は1月、2月とも1人で、前年同月比では目立った改善なものの、前年10月以来の皆無には至らなかった。負傷者数は1月に前年比半減で、2月は前年同月と同じく4人。 1-2月の累計火災発生件数は41件で、前年同月に比べて3件減少した。雪解けとともに3月は林野火災が発生し始め、4月は最も多い傾向があるだけに、県内の関係機関は注意を呼びかけている。 下段は記事英文 By English The number of fires that occurred in the prefecture in February was 19,
the same as the previous year. This was reported as a preliminary figure
by the prefectural disaster prevention division. Although the number of
fatalities due to fires has been decreasing, it has not reached zero. The following table shows the preliminary figures for the number of
fires that occurred in January and February of 2022 and 2023, as compiled
by the same division. The total number of fires in February 2023,
including buildings, forests, vehicles, and others, was 19, the same as
the previous year. The breakdown of fires, including buildings, was also
at almost the same level as the previous year. The number of fatalities due to fires was one person in both January
and February of this year. While this is an improvement compared to the
same months of the previous year, it still falls short of zero, which has
not been achieved since October of last year. The number of injured
persons was half that of the previous year in January and four in
February, the same as the previous year. The cumulative number of fires from January to February was 41, which
is three less than the same period of the previous year. With the snow
melting, forest fires tend to occur in March, and April has historically
seen the highest number of fires. Therefore, relevant organizations in the
prefecture are calling for caution.
